Young Irish man dies suddenly in Las Vegas

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed it is providing consular assistance to the man’s family.

THE FAMILY OF an Irish man, who died suddenly in Las Vegas yesterday, is being provided with consular assistance, the Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed.

The 24-year-old man was originally from Sligo and died suddenly in the Nevada city yesterday, it is understood.

The circumstances of the young man’s death are not believed to be suspicious but local law enforcement authorities are investigating the matter.

The DFA confirmed that consular assistance is being provided to the man’s family but declined to comment further.
