WHILE SOME PEOPLE may not be keen on having a water meter connected to their home’s supply, how would they feel about Irish Water installing a beautiful water feature in their front garden?

One resident of Brookhaven Park in Blanchardstown, Dublin was treated to just that as workers installed an eight metre high fountain in their front garden.

Kinda.

Irish Water confirmed that there was an issue with a burst pipe on the street this morning.

In conjunction with Fingal County Council, a crew was on the ground within an hour this morning and water has now been restored to the number of houses affected in the Brookhaven Estate.

Water has since been restored to local residents and the company apologises for any inconvenience caused.
