Irishman dies off the coast of Egypt

The man reportedly died in the tourist region of Dahab.

AN IRISHMAN HAS died off the coast of Egypt.

RTÉ is reporting that the man died in a diving accident in the popular tourist region of Dahab.

He is reported to be in his 30s and from Dublin.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that it has been in contact with the man’s family and is providing consular assistance.
