Irishman reported missing at the Euros found safe and well

AN IRISHMAN WHO was missing for almost 24 hours in Paris while attending the Euro 2016 football tournament has been found safe and well.

Family members were concerned after Lee McLaughlin from Co Donegal hadn’t been seen since leaving the Ibis Paris Montmarte hotel at noon yesterday.

He missed his flight home and couldn’t be contacted.

The Irish Embassy in Paris confirmed he was located this morning.
