This astronaut is taking stunning photos of Earth from space

Scott Kelly is in the final stretch of a year-long mission on the ISS, which orbits Earth every 92.91 minutes.

US ASTRONAUT SCOTT Kelly has taken some remarkable images from the ISS since boarding the space station just over nine months ago.

His latest photos, shot from 250 miles (400km) above Earth, are just as spectacular, showing what appear to be desert landscapes in Africa.

Equally impressive are these views of southern India captured the previous day.

Home is never too far away when you’re in space, though.
