We’re glad she clarified that.

YESTERDAY, THE TD Joan Collins was arrested at an anti-water meter protest in Dublin before being released a short time later.

The arrest generated quite a lot of discussion on social media with anti-water charges activists again levelling charges of heavy-handed and political policing.

Collins insisted she was “simply standing on a public footpath”.

Meanwhile the other, more famous Joan Collins, the British actress, author and columnist, has sought to clarify any confusion:
