Poll: Who do you blame most for the John McNulty scandal?

The affair is going away, but who shoulders the most blame?

JOHN MCNULTY’S APPOINTMENT to the board of the Irish Museum of Modern Art and his subsequent nomination to the Seanad has brought the term “stroke politics” right back into the news this week.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny says he takes responsibility for the controversy while John McNulty doesn’t look like giving up on his Seanad spot.

Minister Heather Humphreys appointed McNulty to the IMMA board and has refused to say whether she knew he was the likely Seanad nominee when she made her decision.

The affair has also led to some Government backbenchers voicing criticism about how Fine Gael is being led.

Today’s question, Who do you blame most for the John McNulty scandal?

Poll Results:

Enda Kenny (4049)
Political system (1250)
Heather Humphreys (253)
John McNulty (179)
