Man arrested over Jolanta and Enrika murders released without charge

The man in his 40s had been held since Sunday before being released by investigating gardaí last night.

A MAN ARRESTED in connection with the investigation into the murder of Jolanta Lubiene and her daughter Enrika in Co Kerry earlier this month has been released without charge.

The man in his 40s was arrested by gardaí on Sunday morning in connection with the investigation into the stabbing to death of Lithuanian national Jolanta, 27, and her daughter Enrika, 8, at their home in Killorglin on 15 June.

Gardaí said that the man was released without charge last nught and a file is now being prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The investigation continues.
