Joni Mitchell hospitalised after being found unconscious at LA home

The singer is currently in intensive care but it said to be awake.

POPULAR SINGER-SONGWRITER Joni Mitchell has been taken to hospital in Los Angeles after reportedly being found unconscious at her home.

An official website for the 71 year old confirmed she had been hospitalised and said she was in intensive care but was “in good spirits”.

TMZ reported she was found at her home by paramedics at 2.30pm yesterday afternoon after an emergency call from her house. The website says it is unclear what promoted the medical emergency.
