Small plane crashes at Kansas airport during take off

One person is reported to be in a critical condition.

A SMALL PLANE is reported to have crashed into a flight safety building at an airport in Kansas.

Emergency crews were headed to Wichita’s Mid-Continent Airport after huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising into the sky.

A local NBC news channel is reporting that one person is in a critical condition and that 10 people are unaccounted for. 

KSN says that the plane is a small twin engined aircraft and lost an engine during take off before crashing into the building.
