Kevin Spacey is definitely not playing Seán Quinn in new movie

No more Oirish accents from Spacey, for the time being anyway.

KEVIN SPACEY DEFINITELY isn’t practising his Irish accent again… well, not to play Seán Quinn anyway.

Last week we examined the evidence to see if Spacey would be a good fit to play the once richest man in Ireland, following rumours that he might be involved in a film about Quinn’s downfall.

However the actor’s representatives have said that it is “untrue” that he is in any way involved in the production.

In a statement to TheJournal.ie Spacey’s publicist Staci Wolfe said:

He has no offer and has had no discussions about participating in this film.

James Mitchell, the producer behind Ordinary Decent Criminal and Into the West is said to be bringing Seán Quinn’s story to the big screen.
