Man charged over growhouse with €62,000 worth of cannabis plants

The discovery was made yesterday and the man was scheduled to appear in court this morning.

A MAN IN his 60s has been charged in connection with this growhouse, which was discovered by gardaí yesterday.

The plants were found at a house in Crodaun Forest Park in Celbridge, Kildare,  and are estimated to have a street value of €62,000.

The man in his 60s was arrested at the scene by gardaí from Leixlip and Kilkock who carried out the operation. He was scheduled to appear at Blanchardstown District Court this morning.

A separate search in Dublin yesterday resulted in the seizure of €150,000 worth of heroin.
