Investigations launched after man dies in Kildare workplace accident

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

GARDAÍ AND THE Health and Safety Authority (HSA) have opened investigations after a man died in a workplace accident this morning.

The man, who is understood to be aged in his late 40s/early 50s, died after an incident at a business park in Naas between 2.30am and 2.45am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A HSA spokesman confirmed that investigations have started into the death which happened at a distribution business in the industrial park.

More information is to be released later in the day.
