Three men to face court over €350,000 Kinahan cash seizure

The full amount of money will be confirmed by “forensic examination”.

THREE MEN WHO were arrested over the weekend in relation to a €350,000 seizure of cash belonging to the Kinahan crime gang will face court.

The sum was seized in the Walkinstown area of Dublin.

All three will face court today at 10.30am charged with money laundering offences.

Three men in their 40s were arrested after a number of searches of people and vehicles in the Dublin 12 suburb. They were taken to Crumlin and Ronanstown garda stations.

The full amount of money will be confirmed by “forensic examination”.

It is understood that the arrests are linked to the Kinahan crime gang. Last month, €300,000 in cash was seized by gardaí as part of their crackdown on warring gangs in the capital.
