A MAN ARMED with a knife mugged a couple in Cork on Monday afternoon.
He confronted a man and woman and stole their wallets and phones.
The incident took place at a green area in Richmond Hill at 12.30pm.
Gardaí are investigating and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

There is also plans to open a halfway house for women reintegrating after lengthy prison sentences literally 50 metres from this green area where the highest concentration of schools in Cork is situated (8 including primary, secondary, pre school and further education colleges within a 150 metre radius of this area).
