Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

A MAN ARMED with a knife mugged a couple in Cork on Monday afternoon.

He confronted a man and woman and stole their wallets and phones.

The incident took place at a green area in Richmond Hill at 12.30pm.

Gardaí are investigating and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
