Man released without charge in Naas death investigation

The 47-year-old man was arrested after the discovery of a woman’s body in a house in Naas, Co. Kildare.

THE 47-YEAR-OLD man arrested on Tuesday in relation to the discovery of a body at a house in Naas has been released without charge.

Gardaí in Kildare said a file has been prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The man was detained on 21 August as part of an investigation into the death of a 47-year-old woman at Lacken View.

A post mortem has been carried out and Gardaí have been informed of the results but they are not disclosing them for operational reasons.

Investigations continue.
