"Thanks so much": Leo Varadkar on the reaction to his announcement that he's gay

He hadn’t commented since the Sunday interview with Miriam O’Callaghan.

LEO VARADKAR HAS thanked people for their kind words after he told the nation about his sexuality.

The 36-year-old Health Minister told Miriam O’Callaghan on Sunday that he is a gay man.

There was an outpouring of positivity towards Varadkar after his comments, particularly on Twitter. Today he took to Twitter himself to thank all those who supported him.

The news made headlines across the world, but this week Varadkar has been back doing his job – working on the under-pressure Irish health service.

Anthony Cronin leaves behind him a great legacy of wonderful writing that will endure long after his desth.

I would be disturbed if no talented people were to die. We are all human. Some of us die sooner than others but we all die, even the most talented and gifted of us.

We notice the death of talented people more because they are in the public eye and can even be a backdrop to our lives but they, like us, are not immportal.

” Dead as Doornails “is a classic, excellent read, but rather dated and somewhat indecipherable today to people not necessarily in tune with 50s/60s Dublin Bohemia.
