Local appeal issued over missing Limerick man PJ Richardson

PJ Richardson failed to return home last night.

POLICE IN BRUFF have issued an appeal for the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 49-year-old PJ Richardson.

The local man, who is from Lacka in Doon, was reported missing by his family at noon today after failing to return home last night.

He was last seen at 6.15pm Tuesday after purchasing some items in a local shop.

He was travelling by foot and was wearing a high-visibility jacket over a grey jumper, blue jeans and brown footwear.

He is described as being 5′ 9″ in height, with fair hair and a stocky build. His right arm was amputated after a childhood accident.

Superintendent Alan Cunningham told TheJournal.ie that gardaí were concerned for his safety, especially given the cold temperatures experienced last night.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Bruff Garda Station on 061 382 940.
