POLICE IN LONDON have released footage captured by a woman’s helmet camera of her being attacked while cycling down the road.

The footage shows the woman cycling down London’s Sidney Street when a man crosses the road on front of her.

The woman, who is in her 40s, can be heard saying, ‘please don’t knock me off’ to which the man responds ‘shut up’.

After the woman cycles on, the man chases her down the street. When she slows down at a junction, the man approaches her aggressively and shouts at her accusing, her of making a rude gesture towards him.

He then pushes her off her bike into the path of incoming traffic.

Police say the woman did not require any medical attention but was left shaken by the incident.

Police are now asking anybody who can identify the man to get in touch with them.
