The winning ticket was sold in a post office in Dun Laoghaire.

THE LOTTERY JACKPOT was won last night, with the lucky ticket holder(s) scooping a cool €4.5 million.

The winning ticket was sold at An Post, George’s Street Upper in Dun Laoghaire in Dublin.

The jackpot had rolled over for the last three weeks.

The winning numbers were 2, 5, 12, 34, 41 and 47. The bonus was 29.

There is no indication as of yet if the jackpot was won by a person or a syndicate, but National Lottery expects more details to be released once the winner(s) make contact.

The EuroMillions lottery, meanwhile, was not won again on Friday. Tuesday’s jackpot is now set to be in the region of €130 million.
