A large articulated truck is blocking lanes on the northbound carriageway near the junctions for M3 (Blanchardstown) and the M2 at Finglas.

THERE’S BEEN A big crash on the M50 in Dublin.

A large articulated truck has is blocking lanes on the northbound carriageway near the junctions for M3 (Blanchardstown) and the M2 at Finglas.

The obstacle comes after an apparent collision involving the truck and one other vehicle.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland say the hard shoulder and lane two are affected. Drivers are reporting long delays.

In a statement, the Garda Press Office said the incident took place at 7.45am and involved two vehicles. Those involved suffered minor injuries.

Earlier this morning, debris from the M50 southbound, between Junctions 14 (Sandyford) and 15 Carrickmines was cleared.

There was also a collision on the M3 Navan Rd southbound, just before Junction 2 Blanchardstown.
