Overturned vehicle blocking traffic on the M50

Dublin Fire Brigade is responding to the incident.

MOTORISTS ARE BEING advised to avoid the M50 at Carrickmines due to an overturned vehicle.

One lane is now opened at J15 Carrickmines but traffic is still very heavy.

Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted that it was responding to the incident just after 1pm.

AA Roadwatch also warned of delays.

Motorists heading to Leopardstown races should expect delays.

It comes after a truck that went on fire was also removed from the M50 after the Red Cow roundabout earlier today.
