Man arrested following paramilitary style shooting in Belfast

An 18-year-old man sustained serious injuries in the incident.

A 39-YEAR-old man has been arrested following what Police in Northern Ireland describe as a “paramilitary style shooting”.

The incident happened at Ardoyne Avenue in Belfast at around 8.30pm last night.

An 18-year-old man sustained serious injuries in the attack and is being treating in the Royal Victoria Hospital for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

The PSNI are continuing with their investigations and have asked anyone with information to contact them.
