Serial arsonist: Man accused of setting fire to 11 cars

The 39-year-old was detained last night on suspicions of multiple arson attacks.

A 39-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with 11 separate arson attacks on vehicles in Banbridge, the PSNI said today.

The busy arsonist was arrested last night after a black Fiesta car was set on fire at Hillhead Walk in the county Down town at about 10.55pm.

He is also suspected of setting fire to 10 other vehicles in the area.

Police said has helped them with their enquiries since his detention.
