Body of missing man found in derelict house in Drogheda

An investigation is underway.

THE BODY OF a missing man was discovered in a house in Drogheda this evening.

Gardaí said tonight that it is believed the body of Stephen O’Callaghan (37) was found in the house on Rathmullen Road.

Stephen O’Callaghan’s body has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will take place.

At this stage, gardaí do not suspect foul play. The missing man was last seen on 7 July.
