Man in court today over Blanchardstown shooting

Meanwhile, the man injured in the shooting remains in hospital.

A 31-YEAR-OLD man is to appear in court today, charged in relation to a shooting at Blanchardstown on Wednesday night.

He will appear before Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am for his involvement in the shooting of a 25-year-old man.

The injured man remains in Connolly Hospital suffering from a gunshot injury to the face in the incident at Whitestown Park.

Gardaí arrested the 31-year-old  following a search of a house in the Blanchardstown estate.
