Driver in serious condition after he crashes into house near Beaumont Hospital

The road was temporarily closed but has since re-opened.

A MAN IS in a serious condition after a single-vehicle collision next to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

The man drove to the junction outside the entrance of the hospital but then his van veered across the road.

Gardaí said he crashed into a house and another vehicle.

The man is currently being treated at Beaumont Hospital

Gardaí are investigating the incident, which took place at about 3am.

The road was temporarily closed but has since re-opened.
