Teenager in serious condition after being stabbed while working in Tipperary takeaway

At around 1.20pm a man walked into a takeaway on Clare Street and stabbed a 19-year-old member of staff.

A MAN HAS been arrested after a teenager was stabbed while working in a takeaway in Nenagh, Tipperary this afternoon.

At around 1.20pm a man walked into the takeaway on Clare Street and stabbed a 19-year-old member of staff.

The teenager was taken to Nenagh Hospital where his injuries are described as serious but stable.

Gardaí in Nenagh arrested a 33-year-old man following the stabbing.

He is being held at Nenagh Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.
