Man killed as car crashes into pole in Donegal

The crash happened at around 9 o’clock last night.

A 39-YEAR-OLD MAN has died after the car he was driving crashed into a pole in Donegal last night.

The crash happened at approximately 9m at Currinsport off the R257. The man was the sole occupant of the car.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital.

Forensic examiners are carrying out an investigation of the scene this morning.

Gardaí in Milford are investigating the crash and have appealed for any witnesses to contact them with information.
