Man in his 90s killed in overnight house fire

The fire broke out early this morning, according to authorities. Police don’t believe the death is suspicious.

THE PSNI IS investigating, after a man in his 90s was killed in a house fire in the Hillsborough Road area of Carryduff, south of Belfast.

The fire broke out early this morning.

According to a statement from the force:

“The exact cause of the fire is under investigation however at this time police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.”

Carryduff is a small town in Co Down, around 10km from Belfast.
