Man (20) killed in workplace accident

The man was killed when a load came off a forklift and landed on him.

A TWENTY-YEAR-old man has died following an accident in his workplace.

Gardaí were called workplace incident yesterday around midday at a premises near Navan.

It is believed that the man died when a load came off a forklift and fell on him.

Gardaí have referred the case to the Coroner’s Court.

The Health and Safety Authority has confirmed that it is investigating the incident.
