Man had sex with dog after being rejected by ex-wife, court hears

Nicholas Saunders denies having sex with the bull mastiff but admits that he was naked in bed with the dog.

A COURT IN southwest England has heard that a man who was rejected by his ex-wife went on to have sex with her bull mastiff dog.

Nicholas Saunders denies claims by Kelly Thacker that he was found naked in a bed having intercourse with Sacha the dog last year.

The 46-year-old accepts that he was naked in bed with the dog but denies the charge, Press Association reports.

Gloucester Crown Court heard that Saunders had been thrown out of the house where he had been living with his girlfriend and sought sympathy from his ex-wife with whom he has two children and had remained on friendly terms with.

This Is Gloucestershire reports that it is the prosecution’s case that when the man sought more than sympathy from his ex-wife she made it clear that he did not have a chance and instead he turned to the large dog.

Saunders is said to have gotten undressed and climbed into Thacker’s bed while she went down stairs to sleep. He claims he was in bed with the dog but did not have sex with it.

The Mirror reports the prosecution as telling the jury of seven women and five men that when Thacker had become curious about noise coming from downstairs, she went up to find the defendant having  sex with the dog.

The trial continues.
