Man killed in housing estate shooting, two men and woman arrested

Police are appealing for witnesses.

A 28-YEAR-OLD man has died in hospital from his injuries following a shooting incident in the Clonfaddan Crescent area of West Belfast, last night.

Detectives have arrested two men aged 33 and 30 and a female aged 31 years old in connection with the incidents.

The 30-year-old man arrested was also treated in hospital for stab wounds believed to be sustained in a related incident.

Commenting Detective Chief Inspector Justyn Galloway said:

I appeal to anyone who was in Clanfaddan Crescent in the Divis area around 5pm yesterday evening and to anyone who was in the Albert Street area round 4.30 pm and witnessed a related incident to contact detectives at Musgrave on the non emergency number 101 or alternatively contact the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
