Two men charged with the death of a man in Ennis

Piotr Nowakowski was stabbed several times and died on the way to hospital.

TWO MEN HAVE been charged with the death of a man in Ennis, Co. Clare.

Piotr Nowakowski was stabbed at around 1am while attending a house party in the Sanfield Mews estate.

The 31-year-old was taken by ambulance to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick, but he died on route.

The men appear will appear before Ennis District Court at around 3.30pm this afternoon.

The third man was released without charge.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Ennis on 065-6848100, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
