One arrest after 24-year-old stabbed in Dundalk

His injuries are described as serious, but are not though to be life threatening.

ONE MAN HAS been arrested after a 24-year-old was stabbed in Co Louth last night.

The incident occurred outside a house on Mill Road in Dundalk at around 10pm.

The victim was rushed by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, where his injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.

The man arrested, aged in his twenties, is currently being held at Dundalk Garda Station.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
