Man (21) fatally stabbed at flats in Dublin's south inner city

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

A MAN HAS died after he was stabbed at a block of flats in Dublin 8 last night.

The 21-year-old received serious stab wounds when he was attacked at the Oliver Bond flats shortly before 2.45am. He was taken to St James’s Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A post mortem is due to take place later today.

Gardaí are appealing witnesses or anyone who may have any information to contact them at Kevin St on 01 6669400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

It was one of at least three serious knife attack to take place in the city last night.

A man received serious stab injuries after he was attacked at a bonfire in Drumheath while another man was seriously injured after an incident involving numerous people in Clare Hall.
