Man found dead in campsite at T in the Park festival

The death of the 36-year-old is currently being treated as unexplained.

A MAN HAS been found dead in a campsite at the T in the Park festival in Scotland.

In a statement this evening Police Scotland has confirmed that they had found the man’s body and that the death is currently being treated as unexplained.

The man’s next of kin have been notified and a report is set to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

The incident has happened on the second day of the festival which has drawn a crowd of around 85,000.

Earlier police had issued an appeal after video footage emerged of a man being assaulted at the event. It has not been said that the two incidents were connected.
