Man's body discovered in Macroom in Cork

The body of the man in his early forties was found in a house in Massytown this morning.

GARDAÍ SAY THEY are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in Macroom in Co. Cork.

The body of the 42-year-old man, who is believed to be Irish, was found in a house at Massytown at around 10am this morning.

The State Pathologist is at the scene and a Garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie that they are awaiting the instruction of the pathologist before proceeding with an investigation.
