Gardaí renew appeal for information on missing man whose car was found near Wicklow forest

GARDAÍ HAVE RENEWED their appeal for information regarding a 35-year-old man who has been missing from his home in Maynooth since late April.

Polish national Marcin Michalak was last seen on the evening of Sunday, 17 April, at a supermarket in the Co Kildare town.

He is described as being 5′ 9″ in height, of strong appearance and with a tight hair cut and a partial beard. When last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie top with red writing on it and beige walking shoes. He was known to carry a small black backpack.

Marcin was driving a Grey Mazda 6 car, with registration 04 WX 203, which was subsequently found by a routine Garda patrol at Luggala, Co. Wicklow, close to a forest area and the trails of the Wicklow National Park.

Renewing their appeal for information as to Marcin’s whereabouts, gardaí say they are concerned for his welfare and have asked that anyone with information or who may have seen his car contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01  6667800, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111, or any Garda Station.
