TWITTER HAS CONFIRMED there were over 400,000 tweets about same-sex marriage referendum using #MarRef sent since the polls opened at 7am on Friday morning.
The peak in Twitter conversation came between 9.30am and 10.30am on Saturday morning as the first tallies came through.
The tweets were far-reaching with this heat map showing where was talking about us. You can view the interactive map here
The Yes Equality campaign today held a press conference to thank all of its supporters. It said that social media had a huge role to play in the campaign, stating that #MarRef had a reach of 11.1 million.
It wasn’t just Joe Bloggs who was getting involved. Some of the world’s best known politicians and celebrities also joined in on the conversation.

A friend who manages a retail store for a large group that have an online shop as well maintains her shop is now just for trying the clothes on before buying them online.
Right, except that people don’t mind trying on and don’t want to wait in for deliveries some time today maybe. Ideally M&S would have Click & collect.

True – but fitting is important.
The daughter buys clothes and shoes online and is forever complaining that some sizes are either over or under expectation.
Maybe sell clothes that people want to buy , their selection does appeal to an older demographic.
Their food’s tasty, I sometimes treat myself to the odd meal. And their leg lengths are accurate, credit where due.

If there is a hard border in Ireland thenorth will see the first M&S to close in places like Enniskillen and a few other multi stores too.
