68-year-old man arrested in Mayo over substantial social welfare fraud

He’s expected to appear in court in the next few hours.

A MAN HAS been arrested in Co Mayo over substantial social welfare fraud.

The 68-year-old was arrested in Castlebar early this morning.

He’s currently being held at Castlebar Garda Station and is expected to appear before Castlebar District Court later this morning.

Gardaí say that investigations are continuing.
