GARDAÍ SAY A post-mortem examination on the body of a woman found at a house in rural Co Mayo on Sunday has provided inconclusive results.

Results of toxicology tests are now being awaited.

The woman, aged in her late 40s, was found dead a house in Ballycurrin near Glencorrib, in Mayo at around 4.30pm on Sunday.

Forensic tests are ongoing at the scene, and a family liaison officer has been appointed.

Claremorris Gardaí are investigating.
