Truck driver dies following crash on M1 this morning

The incident happened at around 8.30am this morning.

A MAN HAS died following a road crash on the M1 this morning.

The driver of the truck crashed shortly after passing the toll-bridge on the motorway at around 8.30am.

Gardaí have closed off a section of the motorway and motorists are being urged to take a different route.

Gardaí said: “The M1 south remains closed with diversions in place from J10. Gardaí are appealing to witnesses of this morning’s crash to call Ashbourne garda station.”
