VIDEO: Australian police release video of 'Irish men' involved in alleged assault

The two men were involved in an alleged assault in March of this year.

AUSTRALIAN POLICE HAVE released a video of two men with Irish accents that were involved in an alleged assault in the Southbank area of Melbourne.

The Crimestoppers video states that the two men were involved in an alleged assault on a bridge two months ago.

On Tuesday 18 March two men were standing on Princes Bridge in Southbank when they were allegedly punched and kicked by the two men being sought by police.

Police say they believe the two men with Irish accents can help them with their enquiries.

One of the men wore a Gaelic football jersey with a Vodafone logo on the front.
