It’s been cancelled before. Is this the time it happens?

THE GOVERNMENT YESTERDAY made an announcement of a series of long-term capital expenditure plans.

While the entire country will benefit from the €27 billion plan, the announcement of the revival of the once-planned-then-scrapped Metro North plan.

Set to cost over €2 billion and be finished by 2026, it will link Dublin Airport with the city.

But, do you have faith that it will happen? Is the Metro plan just a pie-in-the-sky?
