37-year-old Irishman missing in London

John Dowdall from Co Clare is diabetic and police said he does not have his medication with him.

POLICE IN LONDON are appealing for the public’s help tracing a missing Irishman.

37-year-old John Dowdall from Co Clare was last seen at 5pm on 1 August at a hotel in Cricklewood – an area of London that has a large Irish population.

He had been a guest at the hotel since 31 July but failed to return on 1 August leaving all his belongings and valuables behind.

He is described as being 5’7″ tall and of large stocky build. He has diabetes which requires medication that he has left at the hotel.

Police said they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the missing man and are urging anyone with information to call the Colindale Missing Persons Unit on 0208 733 4420, 101 or Missing People on 116000 quoting Merlin 14MIS028286.
