THE CAR IN which the two missing Dublin men are believed to have been travelling in was found this morning at Lough Owel near Mullingar.

Both Eoin O’Connor and Anthony Keegan from Coolock have been missing since Tuesday with gardaí believing that they travelled to Cavan that evening.

The silver Ford Focus car in which they were driving was located early today at a viewing car park beside Lough Owel just off the N4 near Mullingar.

Gardaí are now keen to trace the movements of the car between Tuesday evening and this morning and have asked for the public’s help in so doing.

The car, which has now been moved from the car park where it was found, has a registration number of 04-D-46380.

Reports suggest that the men’s disappearance may be connected to a major crime gang and the recovery of a drugs debt.
