Search continues for missing man at Cliffs of Moher

A SEARCH FOR a missing man, believed to be from Dublin, is continuing off the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare.

The search has now passed through its fourth day for the man, who is understood to be aged in his 60s.

The alarm was first raised for the man when his car was spotted in the Doolin area of the western county.

“We can confirm that a search is ongoing off the Clare coast but that nothing has been found so far,” a spokesperson for the Coast Guard said.

The search is being conducted by gardaí in conjunction with the Doolin Coast Guard unit.
