Motorcyclist killed in fatal collision on M50

The male motorcyclist was in his 20s and fatally injured when his bike collided with the road, said gardaí.

A MALE MOTORCYCLIST in his 20s has died following a fatal collision this morning.

Gardaí in Tallaght are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Embankment Road (Catherine Tynan Road) at the slip road onto the M50 Northbound at Junction 10 at approximately 6.30am today.

The male motorcyclist in his 20’s was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with the road, said gardaí. He was pronounced dead at the scene and he was removed to Tallaght Hospital.

This stretch of road was closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
