Motorcyclist (30s) dies following crash in Co Wicklow

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with more information to come forward.

A MAN IN his 30s has died in a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle in Wicklow last night.

The collision occurred shortly before 10pm on Thursday night at Turlough Hill. 

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The R756 at Turlough Hill is currently closed with local diversions in place and a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators will be conducted this morning.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage and were travelling in the Turlough Hill area between 9.30pm and 10pm on Thursday 20th June 2024 are asked to come forward.
